Fibreglass roofing,
seamless by design.

One of our specialities. Cold-applied GRP with no joints and no laps: nowhere for water to get in, and a glass-smooth finish that shrugs off Dorset weather for decades.

Why GRP

One continuous skin over the whole roof.

Felt fails at the laps. Rubber fails at the seams. GRP has neither: layers of resin and glass matting are laid wet, cure into a single solid sheet, and get finished with a tough pigmented topcoat. The result is a roof with no weak points for Dorset rain to find.

It is a system that rewards being done properly. The deck has to be dry, the resin mixed right and the trims fitted with care, which is exactly why Liam oversees every GRP roof himself from first board to final topcoat.

Perfect for

  • Flat roofs on extensions, kitchens and outbuildings that have been patched once too often
  • Garage roofs, where a seamless finish outlasts felt several times over
  • Dormers and bay tops, awkward shapes where sheet materials struggle
  • Balconies and walkways, because cured GRP is tough enough to walk on
  • Coastal properties, as GRP is unbothered by salt air and UV
The job, step by step

How a GRP roof goes on.

01

A sound, dry deck

Old coverings stripped, rotten boards replaced with new OSB. GRP is only as good as the deck beneath it, so this stage is never rushed.

02

Trims & detailing

Pre-formed GRP edge trims fitted to every edge, drip and upstand, so rainwater is guided cleanly into the gutters, not behind them.

03

Resin & matting

Catalysed resin and glass matting laid wet and consolidated by hand, curing into one continuous waterproof laminate across the whole roof.

04

Pigmented topcoat

A tough, UV-stable topcoat in your chosen finish seals the laminate. Site cleaned, waste gone, and a written guarantee on every new roof.

Honest advice first. If GRP is not right for your roof, we will say so.

Sometimes a felt system or a simple repair is the smarter spend. We quote for what the roof actually needs: free, in writing, with no obligation and no pressure.
